TEE-TIME BOOKING TO SWITCH
TO INTELLIGENT GOLF
FROM WEDNESDAY 31st MARCH
Dear Member,
This message provides information on the change of our tee-time booking system from Freetime to Intelligent Golf.
Bookings through Intelligent Golf will go live at 08.00 hours on Wednesday 31st March for tee times on Wednesday 7th April (i.e. bookings one week in advance, as at present).
Tee times up to and including Tuesday 6th April will continue to be bookable through Freetime. After that date, all tee time bookings will be through Intelligent Golf.
During the week from 31st March, you will be able to book a time through Freetime in the normal way via the link on the opening page of the Members’ section of the Club website – but only for the 31st March to 6th April.
On 31st March, bookings from 7th April onwards will be only through intelligentgolf.
Members can access Intelligent Golf either via the Members’ tab on the Club website by clicking on Intelligent Golf or via the igMember App.
If you have already logged into Intelligent Golf previously
You can access the booking system through the Club Website link to Intelligent Golf or through the igMember App which many members will have previously downloaded when we launched the Competitions module in October last year.
For those members who have not yet logged into Intelligent Golf, please follow the instructions below
You can access the booking system through the Club Website link to Intelligent Golf.
The members' website is a secure environment and access can only be gained by entering a valid Login and PIN.
LOGIN: This is your email address {USER_EMAIL} or membership number {MEMBERID}
PIN: This will be set to default to a random number which is ({USER_ACTKEY}) but should be changed as soon as you first log in. (This will be blank if you have previously logged in to Intelligent Golf).
Once you have checked/updated your email address, you will be able to use your email address as your Login if you would prefer. Please however note that if your email address is not unique, i.e. another member also uses it, you will have to use your membership number as the website needs to uniquely identify you.
You are advised to change your PIN when you have logged in by going to ‘My Golf/Preferences’.
How to book a time on Intelligent Golf
NOTE: YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO SEE ANY OF WHAT FOLLOWS UNTIL THE SYSTEM GOES LIVE AT 08.00 hours on Wednesday 31st March.
You can book times via Club the website link to the IG booking website or via the IG App
Click 'Book a Tee Time' if using the website (or select “Tee Times” if using the App – an extra coloured 'bar' will appear on your home screen). This will take you to the tee sheet for the current day.
Select the date required. Any available times will display a 'Select' button.
To select a date beyond the days displayed on the screen, click on the small calendar icon on the right hand side.
Once the time has been selected choose the number of players and click the button at the bottom of the window to book.
If the booking is for more than just yourself, you will be prompted to enter your playing partner's details. Click 'Enter Details' and select that you are playing with 'Another Member'. You will be asked to type the first three letters of their surname to search for them and then select from the results.
Check the details of the booking and click 'Finish' to complete the booking. You also have the option to cancel at this point. An email confirmation will be sent to you and any other Member in the booking.
This booking will now be displayed in 'My Tee Times' with the option to 'View' your booking. If it is a booking that includes another Member there is the option to remove yourself from the booking and hand responsibility to another Member.
